Since Vatican II it is considered necessary and prudent to ask lay persons to share in the privilege of distributing Holy Communion at Mass and to the sick who are unable to worship with the parish community.
Eucharistic ministers are available to bring Holy Communion and to pray with the sick, the shut-ins, and the elderly of our parish.
Candidates must be fully initiated adult Catholics, and attend mass regularly.
