The Parish Spirituality Council helps to coordinate the spiritual life of the parish. By observing the needs and listening to the suggestions of the parishioners, the Council offers a variety of opportunities throughout the year to help deepen the spiritual life of the congregation. The goal is a more loving and meaningful relationship with God and with one another here at Saint Peter's and the furthering of the Kingdom of God on earth!
PERPETUAL ADORATION

Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration is a ministry devoted to the continuous adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Adorers spend a quiet holy hour of prayer in His Eucharistic Presence once a week on an ongoing basis. This allows us to have perpetual devotion and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, 24 hours per day, seven days a week. The ministry started in June 1999 and since then we have had non-stop adoration.
VOCATION AWARENESS
Contact: Deacon Lou Chiocco
This ministry is responsible for making the choice in following the call of Jesus for priesthood, the deaconate and religious life a viable option in our parish. They hope to have banners for the Church, a vocation page as a monthly bulletin insert, invite speakers from seminaries to address the School, CCD and the Youth Group, encourage parish participation through prayer and letter writing while candidates are in formation for Ordination and Religious Life. Helping hands are always welcome.
ECUMENICAL AFFAIRS and PARISH HOSPITALITY
Contact: Maureen Crerand (973) 263-1972
Through this ministry our parish has the opportunity of participating in many ecumenical services and projects with our Christian and Jewish sisters and brothers here in Parsippany. We have participated in a joint evening Thanksgiving Service, a prayer sevice for Christian Unity each January, the annual National Day of Prayer in April and "M DAY" for service during May. All are welcome to join in the effort for unity in prayer, service and love.
Hospitality extends also to our own parishioners through periodically sponsoring coffee and cake after Mass on Sunday and offering light refreshments following some of the spiritual programs. New members are always welcome!
LIBRARY
Contact: Mary Lubrano (973) 334-0521
We plan to continue to make available through our library; books, audio and video tapes, magazines and pamphlets that will enable us to grow in a greater understanding of our faith. The parish library is located to the side of the church entrance and it is open every day. We also offer free copies of Catholic Update on the wall by the church doors.
